Biologics and Genetic Therapies Directorate (BGTD) is the Canadian federal authority that regulates biological drugs including source plasma. BGTS also reviews establishment license applications and if compliant issues license to operate plasma centers. BGTD together with HPFBI inspect plasma centres for regulatory compliance.
